National Travel and Tourism Week
May 3 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 8:00 am, repeating until May 9, 2020
Typically, during National Travel and Tourism Week, we call on our locals to go out and be a tourist in their own community. There is often a long list of local attractions and businesses offering discounts to individuals and families with proof of residence in Shenandoah County. This is so that locals can have a real taste of what is here so that they can talk aout all of the wonderful experiences a visitor can have while spending time here.
This year has to be a little different. We cannot in good faith ask everyone to come out and enjoy restaurants, museums and attractions since many are closed or have limited public access. However we ARE offering a video series on some of our most popular themes. Go to the Shenandoah County Tourism Facebook and/or Instagram pages to see what’s happening.
